Healing Through Connection
Connecting with a therapist who is attuned to your unique needs can be incredibly healing. I care deeply about building a safe and supportive relationship with each of my clients, and I believe that the most important growth and learning happens in connection with others. With over ten years of practice as a mental health clinician and six year in private practice, as well as a previous career in outdoor education, I have supported a wide variety of people through various life stages, challenges, and periods of growth. I specialize in adventure therapy, which often involves getting out of the office and into nature so that we can experience growth and change in real time instead of simply talking about it. I have advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Experiences (SPACE). My work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and anti-oppressive, feminist, relational theories.
